Ecology
The emissions in agriculture are mainly created by using fertilisers and by transportation. By complying with fallow periods, Ghanaian soil is productive and requires a great deal less fertiliser. Much is manual work. There is no money for large-scale automation.

Social Justice
All producers are Fairtrade / Max Havelaar certified. The living and working conditions of the more than 1000 workers are observed attentively and constantly improved.

Economy
The pre-set minimum prices make it possible for producers to plan a future; investments in quality and service can be made. The agricultural industry is still one of the most important sectors of a developing country.
