Schools for Ghana’s Future (Mmampehia)
Every time you buy a Fairtrade pineapple, you will be making a contribution of 5 US cents/kg to improving the living conditions of working families in Ghana. This money was used to finance the building of a school including teachers in the village of Mmampehia. Unfortunately, schools in regions outside of the large conurbations are non-existent or of low-level. The children of Mmampehia now enjoy going to their school every day. This project has been carried out with one of the producers of the HPW Services network. HPW Services AG looks after and supports producers locally in Ghana.
