Schools for Ghana’s Future (Adabra)
Every time you buy a Fairtrade pineapple, you will be making a contribution of 5 US cents/kg to improving the living conditions of working families in Ghana. This money was used to finance the building of a school including tables in the village of Adabra. Unfortunately, schools in regions outside of the large conurbations are non-existent or of low-level. The children of Adabra now enjoy going to their school every day. This project has been carried out with one of the producers of the HPW Services network. HPW Services AG looks after and supports producers locally in Ghana.
