Bicycles for better Mobility and huge Savings in Time

Every time you buy a Fairtrade pineapple, you will be making a contribution of 5 US cents/kg to improving the living conditions of working families in Ghana.
This money was used to finance 200 bicycles for the farm’s labourers. Some of their villages are more than 5 km away from the workplace. Walking is exhausting and time-consuming. The bicycles make it easier to get to work and also provide better mobility during leisure time.
This project has been carried out with one of the producers of the HPW Services network. HPW Services AG looks after and supports producers locally in Ghana.
